Trick-or-Treat ←～（o ｀▽´ )oΨ

For Halloween, I did a little photo shoot of Scarlet~ These are some of my favorites... No matter what angle I took the pictures from, Scarlet is photogenic. They never gave me a bad photo. (｡♥‿♥｡)

First three pictures are of Scarlet's blue wig... I wish I had fisted hands for the photo shoot, it would've been perfect for this cat outfit.

And of course, Scarlet had to wear the pink wig too.

Last but not least, is Scarlet's "default" wig. Scarlet's original hair color is black, but they enjoy changing their looks around.  

Whenever I see this picture all I can think of is the quote from Snow White~

Lips red as the rose. 

Hair black as ebony. 

Skin white as snow.

Maybe next year I'll try to dress Scarlet as Snow White?

Yet, Another Shopping Spree...

I've been infected with the marketplace virus again... but this time it's clothes and accessories for my dolls. I should start blocking those email newsletters for a while till I get Lucien his body!

Anyway, Doll Clans came out with new items that I couldn't  resist. I've always wanted a succubus/incubus horns for Scarlet, but I couldn't justify paying $60-$80 for Soom horns in DoA marketplace that I wanted since the original price were around only $30. And I've been wanting a BJD headphones for a while now... So why not kill two birds with one stone~ (´ε｀ )♡

Doll Clans also have a little Halloween event where if you buy more than $20 (not including shipping) you'll receive a little sticker set of Vezeto. I hope I get Kien as the special character for my sticker set... I blame Doll Clans for making me ship them together. ♡(˃͈ દ ˂͈ ༶ ) And you should definitely check out their "The Clans" tab if you haven't yet! They uploaded some cool photo stories/ comics about their dolls!

This is what I bought from Doll Clan, a pair of dark grey demon horns and the Passion in Devil headphone. One of the things I love about Doll Clans is that they offer Airmail as a shipping option! So I didn't have spend a ridiculous amount on shipping fee... Otherwise, I would have to pay $30 just for shipping from Thailand to the U.S. Doll Clans also estimated that the preorder items should arrive in December, but I'm keeping my finger crossed in hopes the items get here earlier!

Moving on, I ordered from rRabit again... They just had to release that cute Halloween outfit (Seven Deadly Sins ~ Lust ~) I had to get for Scarlet! I only bought the shorts since I like it the best due to the fact that it has a little demon tail~ I'm going match that short with the corset from SDF Dark Cat set and the Passion in Devil headphone I ordered from Doll Clans... I think it would go really well together~ Plus, I picked up another casual outfit for Scarlet. And Shiki demands to get a little something for Tetsuya, since his birthday is on November 29th (not going to show the picture since it will be a surprise for Tetsuya and my friend)~ ヾ(@^▽^@)ノ

This is the Lotus Short Sleeves shirt in cream color I got for Scarlet. 

And this is the skirt to match the shirt, a High-Waist Pleated skirt in a burgundy color.

On another note, my Soom Cheshire Jr., arrived on October 27th! Raine the eldest of the mischievous trio is finally home~ I won't be able to do a proper box opening/ photo story till in the middle of November because I have studies to catch up (but I'll still be able write short posts like these). Also, I forgot to mention that I pre-ordered Koujaku nendoroid weeks ago!

First BJD Meetup! (❁´◡`❁)*✲ﾟ*

On Saturday, I went to my first doll meetup! My friend and I arrived early, but it seems like we were already running out of spaces to put our dolls... But lucky for us early birds, we were able to squeezed our dolls on the couches!

The rest of the owners had to sit their dolls on the edges of the counter top.

Before I went to the meet, I got a little surprise in the mail~ The Luts Pink Bunny set arrived just in time, and of course I had to dressed Scarlet in their new outfit! These are pictures from my phone so it's a crappy quality and I was in a rush to get dressed to go to the meet. I'm in love with this outfit all over again, it's very detailed and that cute bunny ears... (´ ▽｀).。ｏ♡

Back to the meet, Mitsuki, Shiki and Scarlet accompanied me to the meet. Here are some pictures of the dolls~ Also, the host of the party is a wonderful owner of many Switch Doll boys, and if you've seen my wishlist...Switch Soseo is in there, I love his lips so much! Anyway, she has 2 Soseo (one is a floating head that she's selling; one day you'll be mine), 1 Seowo (other that the scarred eye, I think Seowo and Soseo are the same; correct me if I'm wrong) 1 Sohwa, 1 mocha Waseon, and other dolls from different companies.

Mitsuki was dressed in a Gothic/Kodona style~ He had a little crow perched up on his shoulder to complete his looks.

Shiki was an adorable sailor kitty~ Also, I finally figured out why Shiki was so floppy. It's because the elastic Crobidoll used to string him, no wonder all past 5 times I've restrung him didn't help! Now I used my spare ones from Little Monica and Shiki isn't floppy anymore (no more trying to face plant the ground)~ 

Lesson learned: do not use Crobidoll's elastic unless you want a floppy doll!

I think the owner said the one of the left is Migi Doll Yujin (not sure), but the one to the right is Doll Zone Floy.

I saw this from Spica ages ago and finally did it (after like 5 months)... and I still want to do the one that she tagged me on too.

- What got you into the doll/figure/toy/*insert your hobby here* hobby?

For BJD, my mom stumbled upon BJD pictures while she was reading a cooking diary blog, and she showed it to me and I was instantly hooked! I actually never thought I would be able to own them due to the price, but I can be quite ambitious once I have my mind set on certain things. As I grew older, my love for BJD only increased... And when I found out my best friend was also into the hobby, there was no way I'm not getting at least one with her! 

I also collect nendoroids and one coin figures. From a very young age I was exposed to a lot of Japanese pop culture since it was a big thing when I used to live in Thailand, I grew up reading manga and watching anime shows. I remember my mom buying me those cheap knock-off figure key chains of Cardcaptor Sakura, Sailor Moon, Pokemon, and bunch of other anime shows. I guess the figure collecting hobby evolved and got stuck with me.

- Do you ever regret getting into the hobby or have you thought of quitting? Why/Why not?

Hmmm, not really (so far). I've always been an imaginative child and loved to create characters and stories about them. Being able to bring my OCs to "life" in BJD form is very dear to me. Plus, I get very sentimental and attached to things once I have them for a while.

- If you had to choose only one type of dolls/figures/toys/*insert things you collect here* to collect, what would you choose and why?

If I had to choose, it would be BJD hobby. I'm too invested (both money and emotion) on this hobby to let it go any time soon. Plus, I've always been the type that doesn't lose interest easily once I'm into it.

- If you could create any kind of game, what kind of a game would it be?

Hands down, role playing style! And visual novel can be a possibility~

- Tell us a little about one of your favorite fictive characters and why do you love them so much?

Hmmm, this is a hard question for me... Ummm Levi from SnK is what I can think of currently. I guess what I really like about him is his personality. He is very rough and harsh on the outside, but deep down he cares for others, and you gotta love his sassy streaks and potty mouth~ Plus, we share the same birthday and we're almost the same height... Levi is slightly taller than me by a little over 2 inches. And one of the biggest thing I love about him is that he's a clean freak! My family and friends also calls me a clean freak.... I'm constantly cleaning my room and spraying Lysol everywhere, hehe. And whenever I see a hand sanitizer, I have to use it even though my hands are "clean". I guess, I do have a bit of an OCD tendency, there are times when I wash my hands too much they starts to crack and bleed... though I've have gotten better now. 

- Do you draw? If yes, what is your favorite thing to draw? If not, when did you stop and why?

Yes, Yes, and YES~ I absolutely love drawing! My favorite thing to draw is people/ characters. Though my drawing style always changes back and forth. In addition to drawing, I also paint with acrylics. But whenever I paint it's mostly scenery/ flowers.
