Nitro+Chiral Goodies~

I got addicted to collecting these cute little one coin figures by Kotobukiya when I went to my first convention years ago. These little swirly-eyed cuties are based on illustrations from Yuupon, featuring characters from Nitro+ Chiral games (Togainu no Chi, Lamento: Beyond the Void, and Sweet Pool).

These are my old collection of one coin figures.

While surfing in Tumblr a year ago, I came across a girl selling her Nitro+Chiral no Mori figure. I contacted her immediately and purchased Akira and Shui.

Boyfriend Shirt Akira is definitely my favorite one-coin figure! Look at his cute little booty and this version has his little naughty parts in the front too. The original owner lost his extra arms, but I'll try to make them with polymer clay or something.

Two weeks after I bought Akira and Shui, I found Shiki Chiral no Mori version on eBay. I won him on a bid for very cheap, although he doesn't come with his character card. I also have Nano Gakuen version, but I can't find where I saved his picture.

And my new additions that I recently bought from eBay.

My next targets are Shironuma Tetsuo (Sweet Pool) and Yukihito (Togainu no Chi)  from Chiral no Mori version. 

Welcome home, Vincent!

I've been quite busy these past months, but I'll try to be more active. Anyway, my Soom male Dia X-Mas Kit arrived on April 27th, 2015. I put him on layaway back in late December and PIF on March 16th. He was kind of an impulse buy in my opinion. Usually, I take months to convince myself to purchase a doll. However, I have a weak spot for Dia sculpts... those lips are just too tempting. Plus, my Doll Clans Kien floating head, Lucien, needed a body and I thought that once Vincent (still unsure if I will stick with this name) gets here he could share his body with Lucien (in my story they're cousins after all). Moving on, here is the box opening!

Looks a bit beat up, but thankfully everything was in perfect condition.

The X-Mas Kit comes unstrung. Soom did a good  job bubble wrapping each pieces securely. I also ordered a wig (Soom's idw1113) with him.

Woah, even in blank he looks drop dead gorgeous. <3

He came with Soom's silicone eyes, Soft Magenta-D08, elastic string, 1 big S hook for the head, and 2 small S hooks for wrists/ feet. I will need to buy a pair of small S hooks for him when I string him.

He came with Soom's old Super Gem body (3-Divisions Torso), which I don't mind at all. Less muscular than their new body, but still very nice. His resin was very smooth, no noticeable seam lines as far as I can tell.

These are the inside shots of his head. More rough than what I expected, all my other doll heads are very smooth and nice on the inside. I'm not sure if this is typical of Soom dolls since I have nothing to compare with. Luckily, I don't mind it too much.

Vincent looks sophisticated with his wig. I like the honey brown color, and plus points for softness.

This is a comparison between my Doll Clans Kien head (made in 2013) and Soom Dia (made in 2015) These photos are unedited and taken indoors. Kien is on the left and Dia is on the right. First off, Doll Clans has more of the yellow undertone to their NS, while Soom has pinker undertone to theirs. Not 100% match, but fairly close. Dia head is also larger than Kien, but their neck size are the same.

It's not very noticeable here. Also, I'm unsure how much my Kien has yellowed since 2013, but he was kept in his box, bubble wrapped as if he was new since I bought him.

This picture is more noticeable when put them next to each other.

The neck and the head fits very well. And proportion wise, he looks great. With face-up and wig, the color differences shouldn't be noticeable.

Happy Birthday Aoba and Sei~

I took these photos a while back, but I was too busy to upload them until now. And what a perfect day to upload them since today is Aoba and Sei's birthday.

Here is Shiki with 'Aoba's wig' that I got from eBay and Nedo Aoba & Ren. Now I just need pink headphone to match the wig.

I played around with PS a bit and changed the color balance. (●´∀｀●)

I drew little Aoba...He is so adorable! (´ε｀ )♡ Too bad I didn't have time to draw Sei, maybe next time.

Happy Easter! I bought these little chicks from my local grocery store for my boys. Mitsuki and Shiki seem to be really fond of these tiny fluff-balls~

Photo shoot I and extras~

I took both of my boys out the other day for a photo shoot~

I really love Mitsuki's new wig, now it doesn't take so much effort to style his hair out of the way so his beauty mark would show. ^_^

On another note, my best friend and her Tetsuya (Shiki's lover) finally created a blog!! Her blog is located HERE! These pictures below belongs to her, she gave me the permission to post them. 

Tetsuya is a bit of a grump and a tsundere! Nevertheless, he is a loving boyfriend to my Shiki. (❁´◡`❁)*✲ﾟ*

In These Words Vol.2

My BL books orders came in today from Guilt Pleasure! They are my favorite author/ artist of BL related books. All their works are gorgeous!

The book to the left is a free promotional booklet of ITW doujin anthology about Katsuya Asano's background that GP expect to release this December. I will be definitely buying it once it's out. The book to the right is a prequel of ITW featuring Kenji Shinohara's background. This is also a gift from my dear friend! <3 Lastly, the book in the middle is the second volume of ITW. I have been waiting patiently  for this book since the first edition of ITW vol. 1 came out in 2012!  I was immediately hooked to the story after reading a few pages, GP has done such an amazing job of grabbing their readers' attentions. If anyone is into darker side of BL, this is one of the books you don't want to miss! They also do many fluffy cute (also smutty) prequels of ITW that will leave you grinning and wanting more~ ^_^

   

Welcome home, Shiki Kurze!

My Crobidoll Lance (aka: Shiki Kurze) finally arrived home on the 17th of February! Ever since I found out about BJD hobby back in 2009, I've always wanted a Crobidoll Lance (you could say that he's my grail doll). It felt so surreal, and I'm overjoyed to have him join my BJD family! A little bit about Shiki, he's my OC that belongs together with my best friend's Crobidoll Yeon-Ho, Tetsuya. 

Wow, the box is HUGE!!! It's bigger than my Little Monica's Harmony box!

And here is his wonderful custom faceup from Crobidoll! I was actually surprised that he came with dark green glass eyes (I thought they only give out acrylic eyes....perhaps they were feeling generous)?!

Gotta love those V-shaped lines on his lower abdomen! Crobidoll R-line has such nice delicate looking body.

He looks so lovely in this wig! The wig is from Crobidoll's CRWL-06 in light black that I got two years ago... Lucky I bought it before they stopped selling this style.

He can use this eyes for now until I get my hands on Milky Eyes no.62 from Enchanted Doll...

His 3/4 profile is gorgeous!

He is all dressed up with clothes I bought from rRabit (my favorite clothes shop for BJDs).

Now let's try on all the new wigs! First up, Crobidoll's CRWL-83 (Light Black). I love this hair style, too bad Crobidoll is going to stop selling this. And Shiki looks beautiful, he would make a lovely girl!

Second is CRWL-80 (Mellow Cream). It's a wonderful color and the wig felt so soft~

Third is CRWL- 94 (Light Black). This is actually Tetsuya's wig. <3

Fourth is CRWL-87 (Light Black). This wig belongs to Mitsuki...It's quite big, hopefully it will fit him with the head cap.

Lastly, CRWL-51 (Milky Blonde). Every Crobidoll Lance I see looks great in blonde hair, including Shiki! It's a cute wig that I can leave on his head for a long period of time. ^-^

I also got another wig called CRWL-10A from Crobidoll, but it's just a regular black fur wig... So I didn't take a picture of it.

I think Shiki and Mitsuki (Little Monica Kliff) will get along quite well together!
