Feel your Noiz! /(๑òᆺó๑)\

Here is a little box opening of my Noiz nendoroid. I pre-ordered him through AmiAmi back in December. Unfortunately, I don't have Aoba with me right now so he won't be helping me un-box his boyfriend Noiz.

Noiz came with a cute AmiAmi card, I love seeing their cards. The one I got from Aoba nendoroid had an adorable bunny girl on it.

Noiz come with two Usagimodoki (Noiz's allmate), the tiny one and the big one. I love the details on him—especially his smiley pin.

Tea Time and Books!

I've been getting a lot of books related items this month, so why not post about them! Earlier today, I went and got this yummy Darjeeling milk tea so I'll be drinking it as I write this.

First of all, I actually got this book two month ago and just finished reading it today. It's called Audacity by Shoi. It's the best Eruri (Erwin x Levi from Shingeki no Kyojin aka: "Attack on Titan") fan-fiction I've read! I'm so glad I bought it, even though it's online for free too. I highly recommend fellow Eruri shipper to read this, you won't be disappointed!!!  

Here is a selfie of me and the book. Apparently, in this picture I looked like Levi according to my friend. It's actually a coincidence... I just got back from my work and didn't change out of my work uniform yet. But, perhaps I would make a good Levi if I cosplay him? (●´ω｀●)ゞ

Moving on, my local book store had a special promotion on manga books, buy two get one free. Surely I couldn't miss out on this deal! I bought two volumes of Karneval by Touya Mikanagi and got a Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE omnibus 1 for free (But I gave it to my little sister). Karneval's art style actually reminds me of my best friend's style (perhaps that's why I like it so much). The story is very interesting if you like action genre. Not to mention all the dorkable moments the characters have!

And here is Gareki (Black hair, also my favorite character of Karneval) and Karoku (Blue hair) on the back covers.

This why Gareki is my favorite character, he acts all stoic and delinquent-like, but he's actually very cute.

Teehee~ My favorite scene is Gareki getting carried by Eva like a bride. Isn't he just too adorable ? (ﾉ)´∀｀(ヾ)

And here is my favorite BL author/ artist, Guilt Pleasure! This time it's a different series called The Doll. The small booklet on the right is a preview of The Doll sequel: Persona Non Grata. If you like dark themes, this would be the book for you. Once I start reading this, I couldn't put down till I finished it. GP does such a wonderful job as always!

Last but not least are my Nitro+Chiral art books! Funny story about this, I ordered the DRAMAtical Murder art book, the Lamento: Green Notes art book, and won the bid on Sweet Pool Official Works from the same seller. However, when I opened my package they sent me Lamento Official Works instead of my Sweet Pool art book. I contacted the seller right away and two days later I got my Sweet Pool art book. In the end, the seller let me keep the Lamento Official Works as an extra/ apology. I would definitely order from them again!

Drop Dead Gorgeous!

Day Dream Lance ver. 2 has always been my ultimate grail doll since it came out in 2011. So back in late March of this year, I found my ultimate grail head for sale and the seller offered layaway plan. Instantly, I contacted the seller and bought the head on layaway. I didn't like the face up she had on Lance, but lucky for me the seller happened to be a friends of Angel Toast Aesthetics, so she offered to hand my Lance off to her once I'm done with my payments. I finished my payments early and was able to get a face-up slot in May. I've always wanted to make an incubus/ succubus demon character, so I decided to make DD Lance into it. I'm not too sure about the name, but I've been calling the character "Scarlet" for now. Scarlet does not have a specific gender, since she/he can turn into male/female at will. Scarlet is the type of character that makes people miss their last train home cause they were too busy staring at her/him. As far as the bodies goes, when Scarlet becomes a male, she/he is going to be using Shiki's body. And since I don't have a female doll that I can steal a body from, I joined a big Luts GO on DOA (items were ordered on June 2nd, so I won't get the body till next month or so) and picked up a Female Senior Delf Body Type 3 for Scarlet. It's a busty, big hip, small waist—beautiful body.... It reminds me of a Dollfie Dream body. I think this body will fit in with Scarlet's personality very well. I also got a pair of heel feet and a neck piece for her/him. I'm hopeful that resin match will be okay, I tried researching on it and found mixed reviews about this topic, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Moving on, today I got an email from Angel Toast Aesthetics, notifying me that Scarlet face up/ fangs mod is finished. I'm very impressed with the work she put in, it is very beautiful. She followed my every picky details I've requested in the form. (●♡∀♡)

Nitro+Chiral Goodies~

I got addicted to collecting these cute little one coin figures by Kotobukiya when I went to my first convention years ago. These little swirly-eyed cuties are based on illustrations from Yuupon, featuring characters from Nitro+ Chiral games (Togainu no Chi, Lamento: Beyond the Void, and Sweet Pool).

These are my old collection of one coin figures.

While surfing in Tumblr a year ago, I came across a girl selling her Nitro+Chiral no Mori figure. I contacted her immediately and purchased Akira and Shui.

Boyfriend Shirt Akira is definitely my favorite one-coin figure! Look at his cute little booty and this version has his little naughty parts in the front too. The original owner lost his extra arms, but I'll try to make them with polymer clay or something.

Two weeks after I bought Akira and Shui, I found Shiki Chiral no Mori version on eBay. I won him on a bid for very cheap, although he doesn't come with his character card. I also have Nano Gakuen version, but I can't find where I saved his picture.

And my new additions that I recently bought from eBay.

My next targets are Shironuma Tetsuo (Sweet Pool) and Yukihito (Togainu no Chi)  from Chiral no Mori version. 

Welcome home, Vincent!

I've been quite busy these past months, but I'll try to be more active. Anyway, my Soom male Dia X-Mas Kit arrived on April 27th, 2015. I put him on layaway back in late December and PIF on March 16th. He was kind of an impulse buy in my opinion. Usually, I take months to convince myself to purchase a doll. However, I have a weak spot for Dia sculpts... those lips are just too tempting. Plus, my Doll Clans Kien floating head, Lucien, needed a body and I thought that once Vincent (still unsure if I will stick with this name) gets here he could share his body with Lucien (in my story they're cousins after all). Moving on, here is the box opening!

Looks a bit beat up, but thankfully everything was in perfect condition.

The X-Mas Kit comes unstrung. Soom did a good  job bubble wrapping each pieces securely. I also ordered a wig (Soom's idw1113) with him.

Woah, even in blank he looks drop dead gorgeous. <3

He came with Soom's silicone eyes, Soft Magenta-D08, elastic string, 1 big S hook for the head, and 2 small S hooks for wrists/ feet. I will need to buy a pair of small S hooks for him when I string him.

He came with Soom's old Super Gem body (3-Divisions Torso), which I don't mind at all. Less muscular than their new body, but still very nice. His resin was very smooth, no noticeable seam lines as far as I can tell.

These are the inside shots of his head. More rough than what I expected, all my other doll heads are very smooth and nice on the inside. I'm not sure if this is typical of Soom dolls since I have nothing to compare with. Luckily, I don't mind it too much.

Vincent looks sophisticated with his wig. I like the honey brown color, and plus points for softness.

This is a comparison between my Doll Clans Kien head (made in 2013) and Soom Dia (made in 2015) These photos are unedited and taken indoors. Kien is on the left and Dia is on the right. First off, Doll Clans has more of the yellow undertone to their NS, while Soom has pinker undertone to theirs. Not 100% match, but fairly close. Dia head is also larger than Kien, but their neck size are the same.

It's not very noticeable here. Also, I'm unsure how much my Kien has yellowed since 2013, but he was kept in his box, bubble wrapped as if he was new since I bought him.

This picture is more noticeable when put them next to each other.

The neck and the head fits very well. And proportion wise, he looks great. With face-up and wig, the color differences shouldn't be noticeable.
